Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from seven vehicles between July 13 and 19. Thefts occurred on Thornwood, Wriley and Old Georgetown roads; Baltimore Avenue and Crestberry Place. Forced entry was reported in one event.

Commercial burglary

Money was taken from China Café at 5436 Westbard Ave. between 10 p.m. July 18 and 5:36 a.m. July 19. Forced entry was reported.

Vehicle theft

A vehicle was taken from the 7800 block of Hampden Lane between 3 and 7 p.m. June 28. The vehicle was recovered July 20.

Rockville

Thefts from vehicles

Property was taken from three vehicles between July 12 and 17. Thefts occurred on Braxfield Court, Rockville Pike and Colebrook Terrace. No forced entry was reported.

Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles between July 15 and 20. Thefts occurred on Liberty and Tuckerman lanes; Milbern, Rosalinda and Deborah drives; Delamere Court; Aqueduct Road and Chilham Place. No forced entry was reported.

Vehicle theft

A vehicle was taken from the 12200 block of Braxfield Court between 7 p.m. July 17 and 8:50 a.m. July 18. No forced entry was reported.

Silver Spring

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles during the reporting period. Thefts occurred on Bonifant, Insley and Cameron streets; Wayne, Thayer, Georgia, Eastern and Pershing avenues; Roeder, Blair Mill, Fairview and Colesville roads; Fleetwood Terrace; Ellsworth, Eastern, Woodland and Lillian drives; and East West Highway. Forced entry was reported in multiple events.

Property was taken from two vehicles between 9 p.m. July 14 and 4 p.m. July 15. One theft occurred in the 11000 block of Abbey Station Lane and the other in the 11300 block of Baroque Road. No forced entry was reported.

Vehicle thefts

Three vehicles were taken between July 14 and 16. Thefts occurred on Silver Spring Avenue, Piney Branch Road and University Boulevard East. No forced entry was reported.

Burglary

Property was taken from Montgomery Knolls Elementary School at 807 Daleview Drive at 7:29 p.m. July 14.

Residential burglary

Property was taken from the 13900 block of Carthage Circle between 10 a.m. and 3:17 p.m. July 18. Forced entry was reported.
