Montgomery County police are investigating the assault of three women employees by a man on Oct. 1 at a salon inside Westfield Wheaton mall.

The man entered Brow Art 23 salon and talked with two employees at the front counter, according to police. The man then forced the two women into the back storage area, where the third woman was working. After a struggle, the women fled from the salon.

The man then fled from the mall.

The incident happened at around 1 p.m., according to surveillance video.

Police announced the assault in a press release Thursday. They released surveillance video that shows the three women running out of the salon, followed by the man leaving.

The man was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with a white skull printed on it, a black jacket over a white shirt, black jogger pants and gray shoes, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call the 4th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5530 or Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 866-411-8477 for a reward of up to $10,000.
