Fall from apartment building in D.C. kills Gaithersburg man

D.C. police say he apparently was a contractor

A fall from an apartment building in northwest Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night killed a Gaithersburg man, D.C. police said.

Aslam Sani Khan, 67, fell from an apartment building in the 1700 block of T Street just after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman Alaina Gertz told Bethesda Beat on Thursday.

Gertz said it appears Khan was a contractor trying to access the roof of the building when he fell. She did not have additional details.

Gertz said she wasn’t sure if Khan died at the scene. His death remains under investigation.

The Washington Post reported on Khan’s death earlier Thursday.
