The driver of a vehicle that was involved in a crash in North Potomac last Sunday has died, Montgomery County police said on Friday.

Pran Nath Sharma, 74, of Blackberry Drive, was driving a 2018 Toyota RAV4 west on Darnestown Road on Sunday.

He tried to turn left onto Blackberry Drive when his Toyota was struck by a 2017 BMW i3 driven by 39-year-old Rebecca Thuc Hoang Vo of Nashville, Tenn., police said in a press release.

Sharma and his wife, Pamela, were both taken to hospitals. Pran Sharma died of his injuries on Tuesday, police said in the press release.

Pamela Sharma died of her injuries earlier in the week.

Vo was not seriously injured in the crash, police said.

Police are still investigating the crash and are asking anyone with information to call them at 240-773-6620.
