Bethesda Apartment Burglarized After Keys Snatched From Pool Locker Room
Police say surveillance video shows burglary suspect at Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center, victim’s apartment
Montgomery County police released three images of this burglary suspect on Tuesday. Police believe the man took a pair of keys from a Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center locker room, and then burglarized the victim's Westlake Drive apartment.

A wallet and car keys belonging to a Bethesda man were stolen from the locker room of a Montgomery County public pool―and then the stolen key was used to take additional items from the man’s Westlake Drive apartment the same day.
Montgomery County police say the crimes occurred July 19.
Around 3 p.m. that day, a man reported his wallet and house keys had been stolen from an unsecured area in a locker room at the Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center in Rockville.
Based on video surveillance, police believe another man left the aquatic center with the victim’s items and then entered the victim’s apartment building around 3:15 p.m.
Around 3:40 p.m., a family member arrived at the Westlake Drive apartment and found several items, including jewelry, had been stolen.
Detectives released surveillance photos of the burglar on Tuesday. Additional details about the value of items taken from the apartment were not immediately available.
