Opinion: Damage from distance learning is severe

MCPS is not listening to science

To the editor:

Thanks for the op-ed about MCPS not listening to science and keeping kids out of school on Wednesdays (“MCPS’ four-day instructional weeks are giving us Wednesday Anxiety,” April 17).

I agreed with all of the points. Kids are resilient, granted, but the damage this so-called distance learning has inflicted on our kids’ work ethic will be hard to repair.
