One hospitalized after stabbing at Silver Spring restaurant

One person was hospitalized on Sunday after being stabbed at Red Maple Asian Cuisine and Bar in Silver Spring.

Montgomery County police said the altercation might have been between employees of the restaurant. [WTOP]

Several people were injured when a fire broke out on Friday at the Cider Mill apartments in Gaithersburg.

Six people — four adults and two children — were taken to the hospital. One adult was hurt after jumping from a window while others suffered from burns and smoke inhalation. [Washington Post]

A Texas family last week celebrated their daughter’s cure from an immune deficiency syndrome, thanks to the work of doctors at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda.

A Montgomery County man was arrested recently for allegedly operating a sex trafficking ring inside the Gables Apartment building in Rockville.
