Metro SmarTrip now available on iPhone, Apple Watch

The public can now use an iPhone and Apple Watch as a SmarTrip card when riding the Metro.

Silver Spring office building being converted to condos

A former office building at 700 Roeder Road in Silver Spring is being converted to 35 condos, according to Kadida Development Group, a partner in the project.

The building was sold in April 2019 for $4.4 million to Roeder Road LLC, a partnership between Washington, D.C.-based KDG and Bethesda architects SGA COS. [Source of the Spring]

Animal shelter to take in 16 dogs affected by Hurricane Laura

Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center in Derwood is rescuing 16 dogs affected by Hurricane Laura.
