Korman zings DOT secretary on threatened projects

Del. Marc A. Korman (D-Bethesda) asked Transportation Secretary Greg Slater on Monday how much money the state has budgeted for five high-profile projects that Gov. Larry Hogan said were on the chopping block.

Slater acknowledged that four of the five remain unfunded and that a fifth has only a small allocation for engineering work. [Maryland Matters]

Delegates hold hearing on school board districts

State delegates from Montgomery County held a hearing Tuesday night to discuss the new map for school board districts.

The Montgomery County Board of Education voted on the recommended map on Oct. 5. [WJLA]

Rockville City Hall to reopen in new year

Rockville City Hall will reopen to the public on Jan. 3.
