Cabin John Liquor and Wine Store reopens

Montgomery County’s Alcohol Beverage Services reopened its Cabin John Liquor and Wine store on Monday.

The store, at 11301 Seven Locks Road in Potomac, had been closed since March 15 due to the potential exposure of a store employee to a COVID-19 positive individual. [Montgomery County]

Aquatic centers to begin allowing two swimmers per lane

Gardens fuse crystals with nature in memory of COVID-19 victims

Along its soon-to-be-purple blooming Wisteria vines, Brookside Gardens in Wheaton has hung more than 1,400 strands of vintage crystals that were once part of chandeliers.

In that temporary art installation called “Facets of Hope,” each strand of monofilament wire and crystals represents one life lost to COVID-19 in Montgomery County. [WTOP]
