Former local football standout Michael Dunn will be a part of history this weekend as his Cleveland Browns, in their first playoff game in 18 years, face the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Dunn, ann offensive lineman, is a Bethesda native and graduate of Walt Whitman High School. [WDVM]

Potomac man brings bikes back to life for free in pandemic repair shop

When Ric Jackson opens his home’s garage in Potomac, there are no cars inside.

Instead, there is a line of bicycles next to a very organized workbench with a paper sign that reads, “Pandemic Bike Repair Shop. Over 600 served since April 10th.” [WTOP]

County residents can now request food assistance online

Montgomery County residents in need of food assistance resources can now do so online.

On Tuesday, the county government launched a Montgomery County Food Assistance online form, which is available in seven languages. [Montgomery Community Media]
