Hometown Holidays Music Fest and Parade – Saturday to Monday – Rockville Town Center
Saturday and Sunday, Rockville’s annual Hometown Holidays Music Festival includes 30 live performances, the Taste of Rockville and children’s activities. Acts include Lloyd Dobler Effect, The Nighthawks, New Orleans Suspects Tribal Gold and Dumpstaphunk. “Mary Stuart” – Friday to Sunday – Olney Theatre Center
Queen Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots are on an explosive 16th Century collision course in this drama in the Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab show, adapted by Artistic Director Jason Loewith. “Escape from Peligro Island” – Saturday and Sunday – Imagination Stage, Bethesda
Interactive, audience participation play that collects votes on options for the young hero, Callaway Brown. Will he time travel to the Wild West, develop crimefighting superpowers or have a crush on a vampire? Best for ages 5 and up. 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Memorial Day Tour at the National Museum of Health and Medicine – Monday – Silver Spring
