On its website, Jeni’s describes its ice cream as having a “bright flavor and clean finish” without synthetic flavorings or dyes.

Kentlands Cinco de Mayo opening in the spring in the Kentlands

The Mexican restaurant chain Cinco de Mayo plans to open in the Kentlands next spring, its owners say.

The restaurant received approval for its liquor license at the Montgomery County Board of License Commissioners. Workers involved in the restaurant’s opening told the board they plan to open in March or April and there would be 25 to 30 employees.

Cinco de Mayo’s Kentlands restaurant will be the first in Montgomery County. The chain also has restaurants in Columbia, Westminster, Urbana and Middletown in Maryland and in Martinsburg, W. Va.

The MoCo Show reported on Wednesday that the sign was up for the restaurant.
