The fast-casual pizza chain &pizza, which specializes in long, rectangular thin-crust pizzas cooked to order, is set to open Thursday morning in downtown Silver Spring.
A text message from the company to Bethesda Beat on Wednesday confirmed that the restaurant will open at 11 a.m. Thursday on Fenton Street, near the intersection with Wayne Avenue.
The text message stated that the restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
&pizza offers a variety of specialty pizzas for around $10. Customers can also create their own using a list of toppings. The restaurants offer pickup and delivery.
The pizza chain announced in early November that it planned to open in downtown Silver Spring, but didn’t give an exact date.
The Silver Spring location will be its fifth in Montgomery County, joining others in North Bethesda, Bethesda, Gaithersburg and Germantown.
