Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is planning to bring a full-service eatery and tasting room to Research Row, a mixed-use development in Rockville.
The restaurant and wine club will lease 12,392 square feet of space in the shopping center, joining One Life Fitness and Chick-fil-A, according to a news release.
Foulger-Pratt, a Potomac-based developer, and land owner Alexandria Real Estate are partnering on the building project just west of Interstate 270, near the corner of Research Boulevard and West Montgomery Avenue.
Cooper’s Hawk will offer a “contemporary, upscale casual dining experience,” a Napa-style tasting room and artisanal market.
Research Row is supplying 125,000 square feet of retail space along the county’s tech corridor.
Cooper’s Hawk has a location in Annapolis and also has a presence in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin.
