Bethesda Magazine To Host Restaurant Week in August

Participating eateries will provide discounted, prix fixe menus

Bethesda Magazine announced Tuesday that it will host its second Restaurant Week of the year this August.

“Bethesda Magazine Restaurant Week” will run from Aug. 12-21. Participating restaurants will offer fixed-price, discounted menus, with two-course lunches available for $16 and three-course dinners for $36.

So far, 24 Bethesda-area restaurants have signed up—with many more on the way, according to Steve Hull, editor and publisher of Bethesda Magazine. “Bethesda Magazine Restaurant Week highlights the many outstanding restaurants in our community and gives residents the chance to try places they haven’t been before,” Hull said.

The following are the restaurants that have agreed to participate to date:


Barrel and Crow, Grapeseed, Gringos & Mariachis, Guardados, Lebanese Taverna, Mon Ami Gabi, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Mussel Bar and Grille, Olazzo, PassionFish, Persimmon, Silver and Wildwood Kitchen

Sal’s Italian Kitchen


Boulevard Tavern


Lock 72 Kitchen & Bar, MoCo Founding Farmers, Normandie Farm and Sugo

North Bethesda/Rockville

Cava, City Perch, Seasons 52 and Summer House Santa Monica

Upper Northwest D.C.


The first Bethesda Magazine Restaurant Week was held in January. The magazine plans on holding Restaurant Week each January and August.

Additional restaurants will be posted here as they sign up. Restaurant Week menus also will be posted around Aug. 1.
