Developers of a Bethesda property have axed the original plan to build a group of townhouses and have pitched an updated project proposal that incorporates condominiums.

At 4702 W. Virginia Ave., the project would redevelop a 4,000-square-foot single-family home to include 19 one-, two- and three-bedroom condos, according to an attorney for the project. The building would be three stories tall.

Washington, D.C.-based Broad Branch Development is spearheading the project.

The company previously pitched a project at the same address that would have included eight townhomes.

The updated plans were presented at a public meeting this week. Developers plan to file official project plans with the county this month.
