Montgomery County COVID-19 cases increase 0.41% in one day
County's total reaches 22,512 confirmed cases
Montgomery County recorded 91 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, an increase of 0.41% from Monday.
As of Tuesday, there have been 22,512 confirmed cases in the county, according to the Maryland Department of Health. One new death was recorded Tuesday, bringing the county’s total to 808 confirmed deaths.
There have been 40 “probable” deaths from the virus. “Probable” deaths have the coronavirus listed as the cause of death on certificates but have not been confirmed by laboratory tests.
Across Maryland, there have been 124,311 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday morning and 3,802 people have died.
