Montgomery County adds 114 cases of COVID-19 on Monday

County has not recorded any new deaths since Saturday

Montgomery County’s COVID-19 caseload increased by 114 on Monday, bringing the total to 21,281, for an increase of 0.54% since Sunday, according to data from the Maryland Department of Health.

The county has recorded 100 cases or more on five days in the month of September.

Montgomery County has not recorded any new deaths since Saturday and has had a total 794.

There have also been 40 “probable” deaths, meaning the coronavirus is listed as the cause of death on certificates, but it has not been confirmed by laboratory tests.

Across Maryland, there have been 116,646 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of Monday morning, an increase of 0.46% from the previous day.

Statewide, there have been 3,696 confirmed deaths.
