61 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Montgomery County on Monday
Three more deaths added; county's total rises to 807
Montgomery County recorded 61 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday morning, a 0.27% increase from the day prior.
The county has had 22,421 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, according to data from the Maryland Department of Health.
Montgomery County added three deaths in Monday’s update, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths to 807.
There have been 40 “probable” deaths from the virus. “Probable” deaths have the coronavirus listed as the cause of death on certificates but have not been confirmed by laboratory tests.
Across Maryland, 477 new cases were recorded on Monday morning. There have been 123,880 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Maryland as of Monday morning and 3,793 people have died.
