Exercise company Onelife Fitness will open a club in Olney early next year, the second location in Montgomery County.

The new 47,000-square-foot club will be in the former Giant Food store at 17821 Georgia Ave. The location is the 36th for Onelife Fitness, including 16 in the Washington, D.C., area.

“We are excited to get know the residents of Olney and we look forward to delivering the ultimate fitness experience to everyone,” US Fitness co-chairman Kirk Galiani said in a statement.

Onelife Fitness is a subsidiary of Virginia-based US Fitness Holdings, which also has Sport & Health clubs and is a development franchisee of Crunch Fitness.

The company made its first foray into the county in early January with an Onelife Fitness location in Rockville.

The Olney club is projected to open in February or March 2020, according to an Onelife Fitness announcement on Monday. The location will have a 3,000-square-foot Kids Club, an indoor saltwater lap pool, and guided workout experiences such as Onelife Signature Classes, BodyPump and Zumba.

“At Onelife Fitness, we are dedicated to delivering innovative fitness solutions that will help the community pursue an active and healthy lifestyle,” Galiani said.

The company has invested “millions of dollars into the facility,” according to the release, with available equipment including a spin studio with Coach by Color bikes, indoor and outdoor turf training areas and a Hydromassage studio.

After the Rockville location opened, Galiani mentioned the company was working on something else in Montgomery County, but said at the time he couldn’t share details about future locations.
