Industrious, a co-working space with locations across the country, announced Tuesday that it will open in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose district this summer.

Industrious will be in a 42,768-square-foot space at 909 Rose Ave., according to a press release from landlord Federal Realty Investment Trust. It is scheduled to open in August.

The co-working space will include 141 private suites and 11 conference rooms, the press release stated. Industrious leases out space for rent to employees at various companies.

Industrious’ website states that its co-working spaces are staffed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The co-working space chain has more than 100 locations across the country, including several in the greater Washington, D.C., area.

Industrious opened in downtown Bethesda at 7200 Wisconsin Ave. in 2018. The Bethesda location, at 28,000 square feet, is slightly smaller than the future North Bethesda one.

Industrious President and co-founder Justin Stewart said in the press release that the company is “excited to grow its footprint” in the area.

“North Bethesda fits in perfectly with the hub-and-spoke approach we’re seeing in suburban markets nationwide, and we’re excited to deliver yet more office options to local businesses and their employees,” he said.
