Elia Griffin grew up in Montgomery County and joined Bethesda Today in 2023. She got her first taste of journalism as a photographer for the student-run newspaper Silver Chips at Montgomery Blair High School. She studied Journalism + Design at The New School in New York City and has a passion for storytelling and keeping local journalism alive.
