Ashlyn Campbell

Ashlyn Campbell is the education reporter at Bethesda, covering stories primarily focused on K-12 education in Montgomery County, Maryland. She has a bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Design with a concentration in journalism from James Madison University, and honed her reporting, copy editing, leadership and storytelling skills as the news editor and then managing editor of The Breeze, the student-run newspaper. Most recently, she was the education reporter at the Daily News-Record for a year, where she developed a reputation for providing watchdog government reporting and feature-style education stories.
