Asian American LEAD provides quality after-school and mentoring programs to low-income Asian-American students in the D.C. metro region.
AALEAD serves more than 300 students annually, including 170 in Montgomery County schools.

What a donation buys:
• $250 pays for food and supplies for a community service day or other weekend event.
• $1,000 supports one youth’s participation in the middle school or high school program for the year.
• $10,000 covers a third of the cost of a middle school or high school program in one partner school.
Volunteer opportunities:
• One day: Teach a workshop, share life stories or invite youth for a job-shadowing day.
• Weekly: Help a student excel academically by becoming a tutor or a youth mentor.
