Bethesda

Thefts from vehicles

There were multiple thefts from vehicles from Dec. 20 to 23 on Woodmont Avenue, Exfair Road, Avondale Street, Fairfax Road and Norfolk Avenue. Force was reported in two cases. Cash and property were taken.

There were two thefts from vehicles in the 7100 block of Democracy Boulevard between 3 and 8:50 p.m. Dec. 23. There was no force. Property was taken.

Chevy Chase

Home burglary

A residential burglary occurred in the 2700 block of Blaine Drive between 2 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 10:06 a.m. on Dec. 26. There was forced entry. Property was taken.

North Bethesda

Theft at construction site

A theft occurred at a construction site in the 6100 block of Executive Boulevard between 2 p.m. on Dec. 15 and 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 20. Property was taken.

Thefts from vehicles

There were three thefts from vehicles between Dec. 18 and 20. Two occurred in the 5400 block of McGrath Boulevard. One occurred in the 5100 block of Parklawn Terrace. There was no forced entry. Cash, property and vehicle parts were taken.

Potomac

House burglary

A residential burglary occurred in the 10200 block of Lakewood Drive between midnight on Dec. 19 and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 21. There were no signs of forced entry. Property was taken.

North Potomac

House burglaries

A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Pissarro Court between 9:30 and 11 a.m. Dec. 18. There was forced entry. Nothing was taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 12300 block of Sour Cherry Way between 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 22 and 11 a.m. Dec. 23. There was no sign of forced entry. A door was reported to have been left unlocked. Property was taken.

A garage, a home and two vehicles were broken into at a residence in the 15300 block of Kwanzan Court between 1 and 6 a.m. on Dec. 23. There was no sign of forced entry. The garage door, the vehicle doors and the door to the home were all reported to have been left unlocked. Property was taken.

Thefts from vehicles

There were multiple attempted thefts from vehicles between Dec. 18 and 23 on Meadow View Drive, Sour Cherry Way, Pissarro Court, Ancient Oak Drive, Green Meadow Road, White Rock Road and Sweetbough Court.

Rockville

Thefts from vehicles

There were four thefts from vehicles in the 700 and 800 blocks of College Parkway between 6:45 p.m. on Dec. 19 and 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 20. There was no forced entry. Property was taken.

Silver Spring

Armed robberies

There was an armed robbery at 5:07 p.m. on Dec. 24. Someone with a gun assaulted a man and took his property.

An armed robber held up a cab driver in the 8700 block of Plymouth Street at 7:06 a.m. on Dec. 25. The robber had a weapon, assaulted the male driver and took his property.

Residential burglary

A residential burglary occurred in the 13400 block of Shady Knoll Drive between 9 a.m. and 7:32 p.m. on Dec. 22. There was forced entry. Property was taken.

Thefts from vehicles

There were multiple thefts from vehicles between Dec. 19 and 26 on East West Highway, Blair Mill Road, Cameron Street, Eastern Avenue, Georgia Avenue, Blair Road and Wayne Avenue. Force was reported in multiple incidents. Cash, property and vehicle parts were taken.

There were multiple thefts from vehicles during the reporting period on Wood Swallow Court, Sparrow House Lane, Silver Ash Court, Sheffield Manor Court, Columbia Pike, Castle Terrace, Castlemoor Court, Colgate Way and Castle Boulevard. Force was reported in multiple incidents. Cash, property and vehicle parts were taken.
