Bethesda

Home burglaries

A house was broken into on the 9200 block of Laurel Oak Drive between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Feb. 17. Property was taken.

Property was also taken from a house in the 4500 block of Cheltenham Drive between 6 and 9 p.m. Feb. 20. There were no signs of forced entry.

Chevy Chase

Vehicles stolen

A vehicle was stolen from the 5100 block of Fairglen Lane in the early morning of Feb. 16. The keys had been left inside.

In the early morning of Feb. 23, a vehicle was stolen from the 9000 block of Levelle Drive. Police don’t know how it was entered. The vehicle was recovered two days later.

Home burglary

A man in his teens or early 20s entered a house in the 5700 block of Warwick Place in the early morning of Feb. 18. The door had been left unlocked. Nothing was taken.

Derwood

Armed robbery at Dunkin Donuts

A man displayed a weapon and stole cash from the Dunkin Donuts at 16220 Frederick Road in the early morning of Feb. 15.

Burglary at beer store

A man broke into Metro Beer and Wine at 15921 Frederick Road in the early morning of Feb. 16 and stole cash and merchandise.

Friendship Heights

Burglary at designer shoe store

Three male burglars stole merchandise from Jimmy Choo at 1 Wisconsin Ave. in the early morning of Feb. 24.

North Potomac

Theft from vehicle and garage burglary

Property was taken from a vehicle in the driveway and from a garage at the same house in the 12600 block of Granite Ridge Drive the night of Feb. 21. The vehicle had been left unlocked, and a garage door opener inside was used to enter the garage.

Rockville

Assault and robbery

A man was assaulted and his laptop was stolen during an altercation in the first block of Maryland Avenue between 8:40 and 9:15 p.m. Feb. 16.

Theft at Richard Montgomery

Two girls, ages 16 and 17, allegedly committed a theft a Richard Montgomery High School on Feb. 14.

Knife at Robert Frost Middle School

A 14-year-old boy allegedly had a knife at Robert Frost Middle School at 9201 Scott Drive on Feb. 26. Rockville police submitted a request to Montgomery County police that he be charged with possession of a dangerous weapon on school property.

Indecent exposure

A man approached a woman as she was walking toward her apartment near the 400 block of Elmcroft Boulevard at about 10:15 p.m. Feb. 26. The man touched her and she screamed. She ran away, but turned back and saw the man exposing himself. Police describe the man as about 20 to 23 years old,as tall as 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 115 to 125 pounds. He was wearing a baseball cap, a jacket and pants.

Vehicle stolen

A car was stolen from the 800 block of East Jefferson Street between 7 and 8 p.m. Feb. 28. The front door of a residence was unlocked, and a set of car keys was stolen from inside.

Silver Spring

Strong-arm robbery

Three male teens assaulted a boy and took his property in the 8800 block of Maywood Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. Feb. 26.

Burglary at Thai restaurant

A man broke into Amina Thai Restaurant at 8624 Colesville Road and stole cash and property in the early morning of Feb. 26.
