With its high school gym under construction, the Poolesville High’s boys basketball team has been playing every game of its season at different county public schools. The team has now won seven games in a row despite the challenges. [The Washington Post]

Dislodged water main cap causes spill in Germantown

A water main spill caused Clopper Road from Game Preserve to Waring Station Road in Germantown to be shut down Thursday. WSSC Water said the incident occurred after a cap for a water main dislodged while crews were installing the 24-inch pipe. [DC News Now
