Beverly Byron, who represented Maryland’s Congressional District 6 in the U.S. Congress, died Sunday of heart failure at her home in Frederick. She was 92. Byron, a Democrat, served in Congress for seven terms. [Maryland Matters]

Rockville-based vaccine labs moving to Boston

Pharmaceutical company GSK is moving its Rockville-based vaccine research and development labs to Boston. The company will leave its office and lab complex at 14200 Shady Grove Road when its lease is up in June 2026. [Washington Business Journal]
