Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Superintendent Thomas Taylor released another music video to announce Monday’s snow day. Taylor told The Washington Post that he wanted to “capture some of the fun and excitement” of a snow day. Students from county high schools participated in the video project. [The Washington Post]

New micro-batch roastery opens in Silver Spring

Celtic Cup Coffee, a new micro-batch roastery, has opened in downtown Silver Spring. The new café is currently in its soft opening period, with cups of coffee discounted to $2 each. [Source of the Spring]

Some RideOn routes to change starting Sunday

Some county RideOn bus routes will change starting Sunday. The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will adjust 27 schedules with a goal of improving efficiency and on-time performance, allowing for “more reliable service where demand is higher.” [DC News Now]
