State trooper injured on I-495

A Maryland State Police trooper was hospitalized early Monday morning after a car struck his cruiser on I-495. The trooper had stopped along the outer loop near Rockville Pike shortly after 12:30 a.m. to respond to a separate accident and was in the cruiser when another vehicle hit it. [DC News Now]
