The Original Crisfield Seafood Restaurant, a staple of the Montgomery County restaurant scene for 79 years, announced on social media Wednesday it will close its doors for good Dec. 22. County to offer free fitness passes for residents in 2025

In 2025, Montgomery County’s Recreation Department will continue to offer free fitness passes to residents for the third year in a row. The passes provide residents with access to fitness rooms, open gym activities and game rooms in recreation centers across the county. County woman continues to lead county’s Toys for Tots after nearly 60 years

For more than 58 years, Elizabeth Scott, 77, has been volunteering her time collecting toys for the Montgomery County Toys for Tots. This year, Scott, the head coordinator, almost didn’t have a warehouse to collect the toys until she made a plea on WTOP Radio. [WTOP]
