Montgomery County Public Schools students are heading to schools across the Washington, D.C., region to lead student-to-student presentations on antisemitism and Jewish heritage. The goals of the program, run by the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, are to help non-Jewish students understand antisemitism and to build empathy across students of different backgrounds. County police tout success of Drone as a First Responder program

It has been one year since the Montgomery County Department of Police launched its Drone as a First Responder program and police are highlighting how it has resulted in improvements to response time and efficiency and resulted in national recognition. Vintage clothing store, café to open in Gaithersburg

Upcycled, a vintage clothing store and café hybrid, is set to open in Gaithersburg on Jan. 1. The shop at 18959 Bonanza Way aims to be a community hub offering games, shopping and coffee drinks.
