Bethesda-based So What Else is seeking donations of food, time and money to reach its goal of feeding 24,000 households for Thanksgiving. The food bank said a donation of $24 can feed a family a meal and it also is accepting donations of food. The organization also is asking for volunteers to give their time in the week leading up to the holiday. [WTOP]
Takoma Park City Council swears in new members
