Thanksgiving is just 10 days away. For those who don’t want to completely prepare a holiday meal at home, a plethora of restaurants and bakeries in Montgomery County are offering meals and desserts for dining in or taking home.
All Set Restaurant & Bar, Fryer’s Roadside and Money Muscle BBQ
These three Silver Spring eateries owned by chef Ed Reavis and Jennifer Meltzer, are offering Thanksgiving dinners for four starting at $210. Each dinner includes a main dish of either deep-fried turkey, slow-smoked turkey, smoked ribeye with horseradish cream (for an extra $50) or seared salmon with dill cream sauce.
Orders must be placed by 2 p.m. Sunday for pickup from 3 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 27 at All Set Restaurant & Bar or Fryer’s Roadside. Delivery is also available for an additional charge.
The refrigerated meals, which will include reheating instructions, will also have cornbread, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, Brussels sprouts, string beans and cranberry sauce. Dessert includes a banana pudding crafted by James Beard Award semi-finalist pastry chef Kareem Queeman, also known as Mr. Bake.

City Perch Kitchen + Bar
North Bethesda’s City Perch, located above the now closed iPic movie theaters in Pike & Rose, will offer a Thanksgiving buffet on Nov. 28, according to the restaurant’s website. The buffet will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with meals for $65, $25 for children age 12 and younger.

Founding Farmers
This farm-to-table restaurant chain with a location in Potomac is open on Thanksgiving offering a prix fixe menu. Main course options include roasted turkey, baked ham, fried chicken, honey-glazed salmon and a vegetarian loaf with mushroom gravy.
Each prix fixe meal costs $47.50 per person and $22.50 for children age 12 and younger. Founding Farmers will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
The prix fixe meals also will be available to-go, according to the restaurant. Meals can be pre-ordered starting Friday.
In addition, the restaurant is offering “heat & eat” options with a la carte breads, entrees, sides, desserts and snacks available for order online. Dinner for four, which includes a main course, bread, soup or salad and dessert, is also available starting at $159, according to the restaurant’s website.
The meal for four and dishes will come with “detailed cooking and reheating instructions,” the website states. Orders can be placed at this link and picked up on Nov. 27 or 28.

J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse
The classic American restaurant in Silver Spring is offering Thanksgiving dinner to-go with meal packages, appetizers, sides and pies a la carte, according to the restaurant’s website. Meals must be ordered by noon on Friday for pick-up on Nov. 27 or Nov. 28.
The meal packages can be made for groups of four ($175), eight ($350) or sixteen ($675). Among the items in the package are a brined turkey, gravy, mushroom stuffing, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables as well as pumpkin, sweet potato or apple pie.
Other a la carte dishes can be added to the meal package or ordered individually at an additional cost. The a la carte menu includes mac and cheese, butternut squash soup, green beans, shrimp cocktail and cheese and charcuterie plates.

Lia’s
The Chevy Chase-based Italian restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving Day serving a three-course dinner starting at $62. Reservations can be made online.
Chef Geoff’s Restaurant Group, the company that owns Lia’s, is also offering a Thanksgiving dinner to-go box for groups of two ($125) and four ($240). Among the dishes included in the dinner box are slow-roasted turkey, chicken sausage and sour cherry stuffing, candied yams, cheddar mac and cheese and bacon Brussels sprouts.

Little Miner Taco
This taqueria with a location in Rockville, is bringing Mexican flavors to Thanksgiving with its 18-pound birria turkey. According to the eatery’s website, the turkey ($85) is deep-fried and roasted in the oven with turkey birria consommé injections. Orders for just the turkey can be placed online at this link.
Whole dinners are also available for order. The meal (starting at $125) serves four to six people and includes four sides of mashed potatoes, collard greens, mac and cheese and gravy, as well as dessert and four agua frescas. Orders for the meal can be placed at this link.

Matchbox and Milk & Honey
Matchbox, known for serving pizza and burgers, and Milk & Honey, known for its Southern cuisine, are offering Thanksgiving Day meals for pick-up and reheating at home, according to the Thompson Restaurants group. The meals can serve four to six people and start at $160.
All orders must be placed by noon on Friday for pick-up from any of the restaurant’s locations on Nov. 27.
Dinner from Milk & Honey includes a Cajun-style turkey ($160) or honey ham ($175), a choice of two sides, honey cornbread and sweet potato bread pudding.
The meal from Matchbox includes a roasted turkey, gravy, cranberry relish, cornbread stuffing, salad, a choice of two sides and an apple crisp for $175.
Thompson Restaurants is also encouraging residents to consider donating a Thanksgiving dinner to a local family facing food insecurity with $50 (dinner for two) or $100 (dinner for four) donations. According to the restaurant group, it teamed up with Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation to provide the meals from the donations.
“Your contribution brings joy and nourishment to a family, creating lasting memories this season,” the restaurant group states on its website. “Thompson Restaurant will cook and deliver these Thanksgiving meals to children and families struggling with food insecurity.”

The modern American bistro in the District’s Chevy Chase neighborhood will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day offering a three-course dinner starting at $75 per person. Children younger than 7 years old eat for free.
Among the dishes included in the Thanksgiving Day meal are a butter lettuce and mandarin orange salad, ricotta dumplings, brined turkey, root vegetable gratin as well as three dessert options. Other dishes, including Parker House rolls ($14), corn souffle ($9) and mac and cheese ($12), can be added to the meal for an additional cost.

Silver and Sons BBQ
This local barbecue spot is offering a Thanksgiving menu that features classic dishes as well as items with Jewish and Mediterranean flavors and influences, according to owner Jarrad Silver. Among the dishes on the menu are a 48-hour citrus-brined turkey ($140), brisket Bourekas ($18), lamb bacon-wrapped dates ($24), challah pull-apart rolls ($10) and baklava cheesecake ($36).
In addition, Silver and Sons BBQ is offering a Thanksgiving meal that can serve eight people for $360, according to the eatery’s website. The meal includes a brined turkey, challah rolls, gravy, cranberry sauce, duck confit stuffing, root vegetables, mashed potatoes and a dessert.
Orders can be made at this link and must be completed by Friday. According to Silver, orders after Friday must be placed through email and are subject to limited availability.

The Heights
The Chevy Chase food hall is offering $185 “chef prepared at-home” meal kits with roasted turkey, green bean casserole, cranberry orange relish, dinner rolls, sausage and apple stuffing and mashed potatoes, according to the food hall’s website. For dessert, the kit includes a chocolate cream pie with a graham cracker crust.
The meals can serve four to six people and will have reheating instructions included, the website states.

Where to get Thanksgiving pastries and pies
Colada Shop
This D.C.-based Cuban café and eatery is serving two pies with a Caribbean twist for the holiday. The pies, Apple Guava and Pumpkin Dulce de Leche, cost $34 each and will be available for preorder online, according to the eatery on social media.

The North Bethesda café is baking desserts to munch on after Thanksgiving dinner, such as apple crumble, pumpkin and pecan pies (all $38) and a cheesecake with a Biscoff cookie crust ($36).

There are about three more days left to order Thanksgiving sweets from Sunflower Bakery in Rockville. For the holiday, the bakery is offering a variety of desserts including chocolate pecan pie, cherry crumb pie, pumpkin patch mini cupcakes, carrot cake and ginger cookies.
