Montgomery County detectives are urging anyone with information related to the Sept. 22 homicide of a 37-year-old man in Gaithersburg to come forward, police said in a statement Tuesday.

The detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of Antoine Lavale Parker who was found in his apartment on the 18500 block of Boysenberry Drive, according to police.

The location is near the Breckenridge and Christopher Court condominiums and a few blocks from the Gaithersburg Library at 18330 Montgomery Village Ave.

At roughly 11:24 a.m. Sept. 22, officers responded to Parker’s Boysenberry Drive apartment for the report of a shooting. They found Parker inside suffering from gunshot wounds.

Officers had responded earlier that day at just before 5 a.m. to a report of gunshots in the same apartment complex but didn’t locate a crime scene at that time, according to the statement.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore performed an autopsy Sept. 23 on Parker and ruled his death as a homicide, the statement said.
