A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in the 1300 block of Rockville Pike, according to Rockville City police.
The crash resulted in the closure of all northbound lanes in the 1200 block of Rockville Pike, according to a post from the Rockville City Police Department. The lanes have since reopened.
According to Rockville police, at roughly 1:00 p.m., police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 1300 block of Rockville Pike for reports of a motorcycle being struck by a vehicle. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was the only one injured in the crash, according to police.
The crash occurred in front of a Tesla dealership at 1300 Rockville Pike, according to radio transmissions. Police reported that there was an adult female with a right leg injury, according to the transmissions.
At about 2:30 p.m., the Rockville City Police Department announced the road reopened to normal traffic.
