What to do if you received duplicate mail-in ballots

After more than 200 voters received multiple copies of their mail-in ballots, the Montgomery County Board of Elections is urging affected voters to destroy the extra copy. However, officials say there are mechanisms in place to prevent more than one ballot per voter from being counted. [WTOP]

Takoma Park-Silver Spring Co-Op to reopen next month

The Takoma Park-Silver Spring Co-Op is set to reopen on Nov. 6 after a summer closure for renovations. The co-op received a state grant that enabled them to expand the store and make energy-efficient upgrades. [Source of the Spring]
