Silver Spring doctor sentenced to 24 years for sexual assault

Silver Spring physician Ishtiaq Malik, 60, of Lanham, was sentenced to 24 years in prison on Wednesday for the sexual assault of two patients during routine medical exams at Advanced Walk-In Urgent Care on Lockwood Drive, according to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office. Malik will have to register as a sex offender following his time in prison. [WTOP]
