The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection launched a plastic film recycling program at its Shady Grove Transfer Station and Recycling Center. Now residents can dispose of plastic grocery bags, newspaper sleeves, bubble wrap, plastic shipping envelopes and bread bags at the 16101 Frederick Road center in Derwood. Office-to-residential conversion marketed for Rockville Lockheed Martin office

Washington, D.C.-based real estate company JLLA is offering a Lockheed Martin office building in Rockville as the site of an office-to-townhome redevelopment. Marketing materials state that Lockheed, which owns the building, would occupy the property until the end of 2026. [Washington Business Journal]
