Maryland-National Capital Park Police officers are investigating multiple reports of indecent conduct that occurred July 14 on the Sligo Creek trail in Takoma Park, according to a news release.

Between 6 and 9 p.m., three female joggers on the trail between Jackson Road and Flower Avenue were approached by a man who was masturbating, park police said Monday in a release. The joggers scared off the suspect, who ran away along the trail.

Park police have increased patrols of the area following the reports, the release said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male around 17 to 23 years old, according to the release. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black and red basketball shorts and a blue Disney Lilo & Stitch bucket hat.
