Montgomery County eateries and bars are gearing up to welcome fans for Sunday’s final games of two of the world’s biggest soccer tournaments, the 2024 UEFA European Championship and CONMEBOL Copa America.
In the European Championship, Spain will be playing England in Berlin, Germany. In the 2020 championship, Italy took home the winning trophy after beating England in a final shoot-out. The game will begin at 3 p.m. EST.
In the Copa America final, Argentina will play against Colombia in Miami, Florida. Argentina won the 2021 Copa America Championship after beating Brazil in the final 1-0. The game will start at 8 p.m. EST.

Silver Branch Lagerhaus & Biergarten – 8401 Colesville Road, Silver Spring
The local taproom and biergarten will show the final matches on its three TVs and a large projector screen. Silver Branch opens at noon on Sundays, so get there early to snag a good viewing spot. While watching the games, patrons can munch on mango chicken sandwiches ($17), loaded nachos (starting at $13), buffalo cauliflower bites ($11) and a freshly baked Bavarian Pretzel ($9), among other menu items, according to the Silver Branch website.
Solaire Social food hall – 8200 Dixon Ave., Silver Spring
Downtown Silver Spring’s newest food hall, Solaire Social, will offer gameday specials in its large bar area. On Sunday customers can enjoy $5 pints of select draft beers. The food hall is home to 10 local food vendors such as Soko Butcher, Manna Sushi, Pau & Sophia’s Thai Kitchen and its newest addition, El Jefe Wood Fired Pizza, according to the Solaire Social website.
Caddies on Cordell – 4922 Cordell Ave., Bethesda
The upbeat sports bar will be showing both games on Sunday, according to Lisa Gormley, a manager at Caddies. Gormley said the bar has already seen “good groups” of people watching the tournaments’ knockout and semifinal games. Patrons can view the finals inside the bar area on a projector screen or at Caddies’ outdoor patio, which has multiple TVs.
World of Beer Bar & Kitchen – 196 E. Montgomery Ave. #B, Rockville
The beer tavern known for its large selection of beers from across the world will be screening the games on Sunday. According to bartender Dan Coss, the tavern has 16 TVs throughout the space to view the finals and other sports. Coss said patrons should “be prepared to have some fun!” World of Beer also has a location in Bethesda at 7200 Wisconsin Ave.
Quincy’s Bar and Grille – 616 Quince Orchard Road, Gaithersburg
Patrons who come to watch the games can enjoy brunch specials with $5 mimosas and bloody marys until 5 p.m. Sunday, according to owner Pete Nguyen.
