Following numerous complaints about excessive noise, Montgomery County is reminding residents and visitors to downtown Silver Spring’s Veterans Plaza of the county’s noise ordinance by posting signs. Rockville biotech company OS Therapies Inc. is getting ready to go public this week in hopes of raising $8 million. The firm is conducting clinical trials for a treatment for osteosarcoma, a rare bone cancer that often affects kids. [Washington Business Journal]

County police expanding drone program to Gaithersburg, Germantown

County police are planning to expand the Drone as First Responder program to the Gaithersburg and Germantown areas using funds included in the county’s operating budget for the 2025 fiscal year, which starts July 1. The pilot program currently is employed in Silver Spring and Wheaton. [MyMCMedia]
