Wonderland Books to open in Bethesda

A new bookstore, Wonderland Books, will open this October at 7920 Norfolk Ave. in Bethesda.

Along with books, the founders plan to sell a variety ofcards and gifts and host author readings and events. (Robert Dyer)

MDOT look at McLean while planning new bridge

Maryland Department of Transportation workers traveled to McLean in Fairfax County last week to gather data for the ongoing plan to replace the American Legion Bridge.

While the details of the plan have fluctuated, Maryland and Virginia hope to have the bridge open by 2032. (FFXNow)

MCPS students repair and donate car

Damascus High School students enrolled in automotive technology classes repaired a car this year and donated it to a North Bethesda family.

The recipients will now be able to easily travel to their jobs and the students learned about maintenance and safety, their teacher said. (MyMCMedia)
