Landon School’s bid to have a wrongful-death lawsuit dismissed was diminished Friday when a judge in Rockville said he was “likely to let [some of the claims] move forward.” The suit centers around the death by suicide of a 16-year-old two weeks after his parents withdrew him from the Bethesda private school and whether the school can be held responsible. A repaired Woodlawn reopens

Woodlawn Manor House, a Federal-style mansion built in the early 1800s, reopened this month for public tours for the first time in four years. On the 45-minute tour, visitors can see the house’s first floor and learn about the family that oversaw the Sandy Spring site. [MoCoShow]
