The City of Rockville announced Monday morning that it had cancelled its annual Memorial Day parade scheduled for 10:30 a.m. due to a forecast of “severe weather.”
The city’s 9 a.m. ceremony and musical tribute will be held as scheduled in Rockville Town center, the city said on social media.
The Rockville Volunteer Fire Department also has cancelled its Memorial Day open house.
