Police responded to the report of a stabbing at 14227 Georgia Ave. in Aspen Hill around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday.
The caller told police that her husband met a stranger in a playground area near their apartment building and was hit and stabbed in the abdomen, according to police radio transmissions.
A man with non-life-threatening injuries was transported to an area hospital, according to a statement from a county police spokesperson.
Police are investigating and no one is in custody as of 10:50 p.m., according to the county police spokesperson.
