Jessica Jackson, a 38-year-old human resources director at a software company in Rockville, is among the former students at both public and private schools in Montgomery County sharing their stories of inspiring the hit movie Mean Girls over 20 years later. Jackson was interviewed about school culture at Northwest High School in Germantown in the early 2000s for an article and a book that focused on cliques and ultimately inspired the popular movie and its spinoffs. Dan Snyder’s Potomac house is back on the market 

Former Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder donated his Potomac house to the American Cancer Society after he struggled to find a buyer. The nonprofit has put the house back on the market in hopes it will find a buyer. [The Wall Street Journal]

BlueHalo moving to Germantown

Rockville-based global defense company BlueHalo is moving to a larger space in Germantown in order to expand operations. The firm works in both physical and electronic defense and threat prevention. [Montgomery Community Media]
