County housing market is moving quickly, while average home price rises
While houses are selling quickly in Montgomery County, the average price of a home in the county is up 10.3% from last year. Median selling prices in the county ranged from $415,000 to $1.4 million depending on the area of the county, but many buyers have been willing to shell out for a higher-end mortgage as houses sell quickly. Child abuse prevention resources available in county
At the end of Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Tree House Child Advocacy Center of Montgomery County talked to WUSA9 about resources to prevent child abuse. The child advocacy center sees anywhere from 800 to 900 kids a year and is working to expand their services. [WUSA9]
