The Montgomery County Board of Education officially appointed new principals at Clarksburg High School, Damascus High School, John T. Baker Middle School, Gaithersburg Middle School, Clearspring Elementary School and Woodfield Elementary School at their meeting Thursday. They also appointed a new public information officer. South Lake Elementary School teacher named Global Learning Fellow

South Lake Elementary School teacher Salimatou Cristal Ouedraogo has been named a 2024 Global Learning Fellow by the NEA Foundation. Ouedraogo is one of just three teachers in the state of Maryland and 48 from across the country to be chosen for the program, which includes a field study in Costa Rica. [The MoCo Show]
